Welcome to The Good News Training Center (TGNTC) an online ministry
designed to motivate black and brown people all over the world, but especially in the greater Memphis area to dive into the Word of God without the lenses of tradition and religion to unlock the hidden things purposely kept from us.
My name is Amanda Burns and I am the founder of The Good News Training Center (TGNTC). Founder meaning that since I have been delivered out of much deception from wrong understanding and teaching of the scriptures, the LORD has inspired me to share the information I have learned over the past three years to help as many people as I can.
I am a native of Memphis, TN and served 28 years as an active duty member of the U.S. Navy. I retired from active duty in 2012 and live permanently in my hometown. For all of my adult life I have followed the values and teachings of Christianity, although I have not always lived up to the part.
How It Started
Like many others, my journey to discovering real truth began after the murder of George Floyd in 2020. One day I was sitting on my back patio in quarantine very sad and discouraged. It seemed like no matter how far we think society has evolved in human relations, hate has a way of reminding us nothing has really changed. I was really struggling with the idea that the Creator of the Universe created a race of people that would always experience some level of unfairness and mistreatment, regardless of the generation they are born into, their class or status.
Once I started questioning whether we would really ever see real fairness on earth, I was pushed down the "truth rabbit hole". It is now January 2024 and I am most ecstatic to declare and proclaim that our loving and merciful Heavenly Father has not only brought comfort and joy to my soul, but has also ignited a fire inside of me to share.
As a Believer in Christ Jesus (Yeshua), I have always looked forward to Yeshua's second coming, but I didn't have a clue that before that happens, Yah has a few more promises to fulfill with Israel, and those promises don't take anything away from the promises He has made to the Church "the assembly" under the New Covenant.

To accompany me on my journey, God blessed me with Shadzron Stanford (my friend and neighbor). She is the one that planted the seed in me to study the Hebrew culture which has really brought to life the same scriptures I have been reading all my Christian life. I am also highly grateful that He has also allowed me to be a part of her amazing journey.
In our studies, we often find ourselves mouthing the words "this is a lot" as we individually and collectively receive either new revelation or a new understanding of scripture or of an event that took place in the Bible.
Shad has played and continues to play a major role in getting this ministry up and running and I look forward to everyone meeting one of the most humble, smart, and deep thinking woman of God I have met in a long time.

Our Lord and Savior is coming back soon and I have a passion to do my part to motivate the unsaved to repent and enthusiastically accept Jesus' (Yeshua's) invitation of Salvation with great anticipation. Also in our exciting journey of waking others up to the real possibility that we may in fact be the descendants of the Israelites of the Bible proven with some hard-core facts.
